SELF CONTAINED PUMP UNIT

This 5 gallon self contained slip pump features a non- rusting submerged jet mixing action pump.  It has no seals or bearings and requires no oil.  The 1/3 HP motor will maintain a 4 gallon per minute flow rate.  With the motor running and the faucet type nozzle closed the slip by-passes at the bottom of the tank causing a jet swirling action that keeps the slip thoroughly mixed.  This pump is reliable and long lasting.  For use with any type of slip.  Complete with pail, 3/4" vinyl hose, and on/off switch.  120 volt.  Ship weight is 30 lbs.

PORTA POUR

This airtight unit is excellent for pouring either porcelain or regular slip.  The 16" diameter, round 15 gallon capacity, molded poly tank, is mounted on 3 heavy-duty casters for easy mobility.  The 1/3HP pump, like all Slipmaster pumps, has a stainless steel screen and whirlpool mixing action to keep slip constantly agitated.  Comes complete with a 6 ft. 3/4" ID pouring hose and a spigot-type nozzle with non-rusting aluminum handle.  Overall height is 25" and weighs 45 lbs.

REDHEAD PUMPS

These immersion type pumps are designed to fit any tank and enter the slip from the surface and are suspended from the side of your tank with a bracket arm.   The motor and motor mount remain above the surface of the slip.  The motor shaft and the pump impeller shaft are aligned as one unit.  There are no bearings or seals used (except motor bearings).  There are jet ports in the pump which eject streams of slip (much like a whirlpool bath) keeping the slip in constant gentle agitation.  All action is below the surface and no air is drawn in.  Complete with 1/3 HP, 1725 RPM, 110 volt, thermo protected motor; 1" vinyl hose with gas type nozzle, mounting bracket and stainless steel screen.  All Redhead pumps pump 8 gallons per minute.  Available in various lengths.  Length is measured from bottom of motor to bottom of pump.  29 to 35 lbs. depending on length of pump.

Two sizes to choose from.  The TTD12 is 26-1/4" long, 23" wide and 8-1/2" deep with a 12 gallon capacity.  Easy to clean fiberglass tank has seven individually removable 1" hardwood rungs.  Tapped for spigot on both sides and end for use lengthwise or widthwise.  Plug and spigot included.

A fiberglass top, 48" long, 23" wide with a 7" drop end drain is bolted to a heavy-duty structural steel frame mounted on four heavy-duty 3" casters.  The bottom of the frame is completely shelved.  Slip can be drained either from the front or rear of the flat bottom section of the drain end.  The B4 self contained unit will fit on the shelf underneath making this entire unit self contained or roll the B6, PP15, or other portable pump unit, to the end of the table and use the shelf for storing molds or other items.  Top has 11 individually removable 1" hardwood rungs.

Excellent for mixing glazes, casting slip, plaster, etc.  Jiffy Mixer is a true mixer, not a stirrer.  It is heavy duty and efficient.  The two vertical blades confine the mixing action within the mixing head while the horizontal opposed blades force material from the upper and lower areas of the container inside the head.   The leading edge of the lower horizontal blade will scrape the bottom of the container to bring all settled particles into the head.  The ring prevents damage to the blades and puncturing of container walls.  Fits all 1/4" to 3/4" power tools.

MASTER MIXER                                          

This is a custom engineered paddle that is designed to stir slip in large containers.  It is made of heavy duty nylon, has unique cut-outs to make stirring easier, and slotted flow-thru holes to keep bubbles from forming.  Use spoon strainer on opposite end to remove unwanted particles.  Over all length is 18-1/2" allowing for two handed operation.

        PLASTIC SIEVES

These sieves consist of a 6-1/2" diameter brass screen permanently fused in a tough flexible polyethylene bow, approximately 12" in diameter.  It has an outer lip that fits conveniently over most 5 gallon plastic pails.  One gallon capacity.

HYDROMETER                                               

This instrument was designed exclusively to measure the specific gravity of clay and porcelain casting slips.  It should not be used for any other liquids.   Having the correct specific gravity in slip is essential for strong greenware and easy mold release and to prevent other potential slip problems.  Complete with instructions.
